Last night, Ramesh Taurani hosted a Diwali bash for B-Town celebrities which was attended by a host of them. Here’s taking a cue from these lovely actresses who dressed up for the occasion on how you can don that perfect Diwali look.
Sonakshi Sinha wore a ruffled pink printed saree with a waist band. She kept the look quite festive by wearing a gajra around her bun. You can surely go for plain ruffled sarees too and opt for some mogra play to get the desi vibe on like Sona.
If you have the perfect abs to flaunt, then take a tip from Rakul Preet Singh on how to dress sexy for such parties. The actress wore a plain off-white lehenga and bikini blouse with a heavy embroidered maroon and red dupatta. She matched a red choker along and tied her hair in a flirty bun.
Preity Zinta was all about feeling bright and chirpy. The actress chose a shade of maroon and magenta mix for her beaded sharara. She kept the look understated in terms of accessories and makeup. Though the look didn’t impress me much as I wish she didn’t wear the waist belt on it.
If you’re a simple saree person then Tamannaah Bhatia can be a good example to take a cue from. She wore a simple black saree with a shimmery blouse and just twirled her hair in loose waves. The look was quite clean.
Nushrat Bharucha shows you how to quirk it up. The Dream Girl actress wore a deep wine colour lehenga choli but draped her dupatta quite stylishly. Also, her hairdo complemented her look quite well.
Other actresses who made heads turn with their desi style at the do were Daisy Shah, Diana Penty, Dia Mirza and Sophie Choudry.
So, these were the ladies who upped the style quotient at Ramesh Taurani’s party. We hope they inspired you to don a look like theirs for your Diwali bash.
